"I was strung out on heroin for two years, stole, smashed motorcycles into trees, boozed, ate pills by the handful," actor Robert Blake once said of his days in the 1970s, "Self destruction? I could write a book." Now that he's added accused-and-acquitted-wife-killer to his list of achievements, maybe a fat book advance is a way to recoup the $10 million he spent defending himself in court. The Los Angeles Times notes more than a dozen deals are already in the works and Blake's publicist claims "there could be book [or] a made-for-TV movie" in the near future.
Hey Bobby, how about one of these feisty titles?
1. Daddy Dearest
2. So I Married a Gun-Murderer
3. Kill Bonnie, Vol. 2
4. Diary of a Mad White Man
5. Robert Blake's A Series of Unfortunate Events
