Remember 20 years ago when Whitney Houston was a demure prodigy and "Silver Spoons" guest-star? Sadly, she might not remember either. According to her long-suffering publicist, Mrs. Bobby Brown checked herself into an undisclosed rehab center yesterday. This is just the latest pit stop on the 41-year-old's bumpy road to wellville. Let's take a look back, shall we? First, the diva was nabbed at a Hawaiian airport with a half-ounce of wacky tobacky in her purse. And who could forget her candid interview with Diane Sawyer when she and Brown admitted their greatest love of all: booze, pills and pot. (Houston poetically dismissed crack as "wack.") Then, just one year ago, she entered rehab for substance abuse, checking out five days later. It's a lot to remember, which is why I'm grateful the new tell-all book "The Rise and Fall of Daddy's Little Girl," (by a former associate of Houston's late father) hits bookstores soon.
