African prints, batiks, wood jewelry and exotic materials (P. Diddy's lynx coat, anyone?) are all on the docket for this spring, say the folks over at Style.com. You can take this trend a number of ways: dress the hunter in khaki, or the hunted in exotic skins. Gucci, YSL Rive Gauche and Versace all featured colonial khaki jackets. Dolce & Gabbana (pictured), Balenciaga and Coach showed python and animal print details from the unlucky end of the food chain. Go native in batiks and African textiles, or, if you wish, don a dapper suit and play the role of ousted dictator.
