Imitation of Couture might be a better name for the floaty, see-through, candy-colored -- yet bland -- dresses that comprised former edgy decontructionist label Imitation of Christ's first haute couture show. After crashing the Paris shows three years ago with an ambulance full of models, designer Tara Subkoff has finally arrived ... with a whimper.
