Madonna's trying hard to return to her club-kid roots -- from her head all the way down to her toes. At a press event promoting her new album, Fashion Week Daily noticed Madge dissed her usual $500-or-more Prada kicks in favor of shoes she may have worn several tax brackets ago -- $95 sparkly round-toe "Fortuna" Mary Janes by Baby Phat. She also popped by NYU for a quick lecture about her new documentary. "It was just an added bonus to see Madonna in fishnets," one student told the BBC.
