
Paris runways reached into museums this season, offering up mini art history lessons to go with the super expensive ready-to-wear goods. A few of Stella McCartney's dresses were printed with artwork by 80s bad boy Jeff Koons (above). YSL found inspiration from early-20th-century abstractionist Piet Mondrian in creating their bold graphic jacket, notes ClothesHoarse. And contemporary bad girl artist Vanessa Beecroft, who creates performance art with naked models, formed the Louis Vuitton logo with her medium of choice at the LV show.
