Hip Hop Gets Sophisticated

vibe-awards.jpgThe Washington Post's Robin Givhan suggests the sloppy, baggy hip-hop look may be falling out of favor, and judging from the sophisticated looks at the Vibe awards, she might be right. Gentlemen were especially fond of velvet blazers, with (left to right) host Anthony Anderson in crimson, rapper T.I. in a very suave embroidered ebony number and presenter Terry Crews (Chris Rock's dad on UPN's "Everybody Hates Chris") in an almost blue black. Play on, playas!
