Controversial and free-spirited fashion photographer Bob Richardson died last week, leaving behind a legacy followed by the likes of Bruce Weber and Steven Meisel and his son Terry Richardson. "He was the first guy who said it was O.K. to underexpose the film, to not show the clothes," photographer Bruce Weber told the New York Times. "So many photographers when I first started out idolized Bob. He was sort of an underground figure."
