According to WWD, La Lagerfeld went to drastic measures to tell New York women a thing or two about dressin' up -- even closing down the NYC flagship store for his two recent Chanel shows. And apparently it's worked. Vogue's Andre Leon Talley was compelled to pronounce, "grooming, glossing and impeccability are back." Well, amen to that.
