Trying to get behind the magic that makes a holiday party, the New York Times Style Magazine interviews designer Roberto Cavalli on his decadent and legendary events. Some things, however, don't sound so fabulous: New York Times: "So the gowns can match the tablecloths?" Roberto Cavalli: "They can. I try not to do this for big events, because I don't want to embarrass anybody arriving with a gown that's the same as the tablecloth." That would be bad.
