Not content to leave the bridal gown ghetto behind with her successful ready-to-wear collection and Council of Fashion Designers of America designer of the year award, Vera Wang is tackling a new challenge -- affordability -- by designing a line for Kohl's. "Let's be realistic, how many people are buying a $2,000 skirt?" she told the New York Times. "I love to design things that people can actually buy. I'm staggered by what a boot costs today."
