Next month, 73-year-old Nashville designer Manuel Cuevas will debut his first ready-to-wear line during New York Fashion Week. The cowboy couturier is most famous for dressing Johnny Cash in black and putting Elvis in his first jumpsuit, but has also worked for clients Dolly Parton and George H.W. Bush. Cuevas told the New York Daily News, "Sometimes (my designs) come off a little corny, but there are a lot of corny people who wear it."
