Industrial blue tarps that covered much of post-Katrina New Orleans shimmered in the runway glow last week when the Big Easy's legendary Antoine's eatery hosted a blue tarp fashion show to benefit America's Wetlands Foundation. In looks that The Washington Post described as part-Christo, part-Home Depot, local models swished down the catwalk with a pre-Mardi Gras joie de vivre that helped to lift the hurricane blues.
