Seventeen-year-old model Lily Cole tells us what it was like to work for Dior (she finds Galliano a "fascinating character"), Christian Lacroix ("very fatherly and friendly"), and Jean Paul Gaultier (he loves figs) in a diary published by the London Telegraph. "Sometimes you do feel like a clothes-horse being dressed and poked and prodded, but you are not in a position to take offense when you are being paid a good wage to be a clothes-horse."
