Some designers will do anything to finance a clothing line. Jared Paul Stern, the Page Six scribe at the center of the extortion scandal that's currently rocking the New York Post, said he asked a billionaire supermarket mogul for $220,000 not as hush money, but to help finance Skull & Bones, his preppy clothing and accessories line. The fact that Stern is likely to spend most of his money on legal fees in the coming months pretty much seals the fate of Skull & Bones.
