Danielle's a Star

danielle-wins.jpgTake the drag queen-ish beauty of Beverly Johnson, the gap-toothed smile of Lauren Hutton and the awkward movements of a baby deer and you've got America's (Least Likely) Next Top Model, Danielle. Hey, who cares who won as long as Jade was sent packing. Speaking of packing, moving the show to tsunami-ravaged Thailand was brilliant as the girls were able to showcase their petty insecurities in a place where no one cares about a modeling reality show. Here's to Season 7 in New Orleans!

I totally disagree. I thought that Danielle was a great choice. Unlike any of the past winners, she is well rounded, takes great pictures and adapts to constructive critisms without whining. Despite this, I have to agree with you that any one beside Jade would have been a great choice. Both of the final two contestants were wonderful and I am excited to see what they do next. By the way, who did you want to win?

I was wondering if anyone noticed that they were a lot harsher this year. I usually find the comments on point, but I thought that they were being harsh when they forced people to fix their teeth and drop their accent (with little help) within the span of a week.

I think Tyra is grasping at ways to keep the competition fresh (and I'm so sick of hearing her and every judge/wannabe model say the word "competition") - hence the harsher judgements. They haven't picked a decent top model since Eva.

I am very pleased and impressed with ANTP's choice of Danielle Evans. She was truly a contestant that remained focused on her goal despite any adversities she was faced with.

Danielle is one of the best choices in the entire history of Top Model season picks. She is beautiful, charming, and articulate with her accent.

I don't recall her ever using slang, profanity, or made up words unlike other contestants in her cycle that constantly engaged in using made up words an occasional profanity. There was not even a comment about the unamed contestants consistant poor word choice.

Dannielle is deserving on levels that span beyond a layperson's understanding. Keep up the awesome work Dani I was rooting for you the whole time! I hope to see you in Gucci, LV, and Hermes promotions (hint to the powers that be) !
