Word on the street is that some artists -- including Chris Brown and the Black Eyed Peas -- were turned down after requesting gear from cool-kid Japanese line A Bathing Ape, first popularized by Pharrell Williams and his boys The Clipse. The Clipse's Pusha T grabbed a copy of Vibe (where the tidbit ran) and scanned it, eyes aglow. "Those guys are so particular," he said of the BAPE clan. Did it bother him people were biting his style, I asked? "No, it doesn't bother me," he said. "I just wish they've give the credit where credit is due." [photo frm BET.com]
