Rumors that menswear designer Hedi Slimane may leave Dior brings dismay to some, but we think it's a cause for celebration. Slimane has his own womenswear label in the works (WWD says this is part of the friction between Dior and himself), and freeing himself from Dior will surely mean more collections under his own name.
