There's a new Marie Claire in town (right) and so far we like her a lot. After thousands of readers complained about Ashlee Simpson's cover and interview (in which the soon-to-be-surgically-altered pop starlet urged women to accept their natural beauty), the new editor ended Marie's love affair with crappy pop celebrities. The magazine "drifted off-brand," editor Joanna Coles told the New York Times. "Partly due to the assault on the newsstand from celebrity weeklies. It happened to everyone, not just Marie Claire." Too true. Just look who's on the cover of i-D.
