Skinny Man Dilemma

Why's it so hard for a fashionable American dude to cop a pair of skinny jeans? While the trend is finally trickling down to mass market, it's mostly for women. Unless he's got a bud in the U.K. near a Top Shop, opts to wear women's jeans, or shops at a punk retailer, a guy has to search high and low for a respectable pair of drainpipes. Some options include APC or J. Lindeberg, but the sad likelihood is that by the time it gets to the H&M price point, the look will be totally over.
