Is Perry Ellis suddenly hip and no one told me? The label known for its corporate pret-a-porter (and, we remember, for booting Marc Jacobs for his infamous grunge collection ) looks like the first advertiser to back a new music service called SpiralFrog that launches in December. "Our audience is heavily into music and can be more easily reached on the web," Perry Ellis president Oscar Feldenkreis told the New York Times. What'll they be downloading -- Barry Manilow?
