Anna Wintour may think globally when it comes to fashion, but she acts locally when it comes to water quality. And so the fashion maven has brought attention to Save the Forge River, an organization dedicated to improving local water quality in Long Island, NY. "We have boats, and I have kids, and there is no way we would let them go in the water," the Vogue editrix told Newsday reporter Jennifer Smith from her summer home. The softer side of Ms. Wintour is always nice to see.
