Mall of America

macys-street.jpgMacy's is continuing its apparent evil mission to frump up America, and business analysts say it's working. Federated Department Stores, which owns Macy's and Bloomies, saw profits rise 6.2 percent after the September switcheroo of 400 stores nationwide. This may be good news for retail fashion but it's bad for fashionistas: any of us who's dared to peek inside a Macy's is sure to catch hives from the dullness of it all. Seriously, how many pairs of pleated khakis, Sean John logo tees, clunky brown shoes and wash-and-wear polo shirts can one man own? For heaven's sake, do their buyers ignore design trends?

Thank God I'm not the only one that is completely mortified by Macy's.

I can honestly say i haven't bought any of those items from macys, i've bought some great designer things from macys sooo im happy. Plus people must remember that macys is for the basics and you go to other stores to make your outfits original.
