We were devastated when Project Alabama kicked the bucket in September, citing lack of funding for Natalie Chanin's line of hand-crafted one-of-a-kind pieces. Blessedly, she is starting up a new line called Alabama Chanin, which will expand from clothing into jewelry, housewares and more, all still made by hand in Alabama.
