The other week I had the pleasure of running into "Ugly Betty" star America Ferrera at the Standard Hotel in Hollywood. We'd sat next to her at brunch for nearly half and hour and, this being L.A., didn't really notice. It wasn't until we were at the valet we realized we were in the presence of faux-fashion greatness. Anyway, she was super-sweet as we bombarded her with our totally out-of-character gushy, teenaged-girl-like fawning (the Naomi Campbell episode hasn't been filmed yet, she managed to tell us, as we blathered on), and agreed to let us snap a pic of her. She looks, as you can see, fabulously natural with her zip-up sweatshirt, Gucci bag with silk scarf attached and jeans and flat orange sandals. Not ugly, at all.
