posen-richie.jpgThe fact that stylish socialites replaced Hollywood darlings in the front rows of this year's hottest shows probably has more to do with savvy designers courting bankable clients than any real backlash against bling (this is still America, after all). "Without the usual army of fashion stylists and make-up artists," reports the New York Post, "they've ushered in an anti-celebrity fashion sense." Whatever, it'll be interesting to see what happens when all the upstart couturiers looking for the next Nan Kempner find out that most of these gals shop online.
