We know designers probably never call each other the night before their shows to ask each other what they're going to wear, a la preteen girls, but maybe they should. It seems Balenciaga, Vivienne Westwood, and Dolce & Gabbana all have the same black belt, and it's not in karate. Makes you wonder -- is there any difference between a trend and boring repetition?
