Hair Apparent

On the Runway, New York Times fashion reporter Cathy Horyn's mouthpiece during the shows at Bryant Park, is a real treat for those who can't get enough of her no-holds-barred eviscerations of uninspired fashion offerings. And even those who don't particularly adore her can get a dose of her softer side -- fretting about her hair, for instance, instead of giving more than two passing thoughts to the Michael Kors show. Her journalistic integrity is intact, though. If it were me, I'd be running backstage begging for one of this season's signature hats.
