Paul Makes 'Em Pay

There are plenty of reasons to like Paul Smith. His clothes are traditional with an edge and he designs cute, tailored clothes for both men and women. But best of all, he makes celebrities pay for their damned clothes like the rest of us schlubs. In the March issue of BlackBook, Smith explains, "We've been dressing musicians and celebrities for many years, but they always buy the clothes; we don't give clothes away. That's our policy. Not because of meanness, but because it sets the rule," Smith says, adding, "They're wealthier than most of the customers." [via Radar]
