You know, I never really got all the hubbub about Marchesa. CFDA award and the designers' great cheekbones aside, the dresses are just okay, in a Bill-Blass-in-the-80s kind of way -- but then what? So you can imagine my non-surprise when I read in the New York Times one reigning theory behind the line's red carpet success -- the May-December romance between Marchesa's Georgina Chapman, right, and none other than Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein.
