Balenciaga Does Dallas

Less about fashion than the Texan socialites who wore it, the "Balenciaga and His Legacy" exhibition at the Meadows Museum in Dallas has its ups and downs. On the up side, the clothes are gorgeous and some of them so well-loved they were worn out. On the down side, some of the dresses included were not designed by Balenciaga -- this is the "legacy" part, I guess -- such as the beaded Oscar de la Renta gown Laura Bush wore to her husband's second inauguration.
