Stealers or Stylists?

Does it bother anyone else that people like Kate Moss, Madonna and Gwen Stefani are allowed to take stuff out of their closet, pretend like no one ever designed those clothes, tweak it a bit (to alleviate the guilt or just to cover their tracks?) and mass-produce it for her own profit? Yes, yes, it takes a good eye to select good-looking clothes, but it also takes talent to dream up a garment, get it fitted, and produce it for the market. I guess the truth is, these collections are less about designs and more about owning a piece of Madonna's or Kate's closet. Should we simply congratulate them on their shopping skills?
