Harvey Buys Halston

Harvey Weinstein announced plans to bring back Halston, a brand that has not seen good times since its polyester-soaked days in the 1970s, when its sleek minimalism made it the thing to wear to Studio 54. Could his girlfriend, Georgina Chapman of Marchesa, have anything to do with this? Perhaps not. It seems that stylist Rachel Zoe, who could herself be plucked from a Halston ad with her drippy, drapey Grecian gowns, will act as creative consultant. [via WWD and NYT]
