Rumors that Hedi Slimane may leave Dior Homme have grown more fierce as the designer's contract continues to languish, having gone unsigned for nearly a year now, reports WWD. Apparently Dior wants to own his name, Hedi very wisely doesn't want to give it up. What's in a name, you ask? A whole lot of branding power, that's what. Just launch a women's collection someday, Hedi, and we'll be happy. [update: Dior has ditched Hedi for Kris van Assche, reports WWD.]
