Versace Gets Cloaked

When acclaimed line Cloak folded late last year, more than a few tears were shed over the loss of one of menswear's great minds. But creator Alexandre Plokhov was not left on the dance floor alone long -- he's been snapped up as a consultant for Versace menswear. It's a weird alliance -- Plokhov's dark, brooding, tailored vision couldn't be more different than Versace's slouchy, technicolor Miami Vice style. Opposites attract, I guess.
