Am I the only person not too excited or impressed by the new Gap capsule collections? Don't get me wrong, I love Doo.Ri, Rodarte and Thakoon. And the dresses and shirts are cute. But something wrong happens once something goes through the Gap. Things become boring, khaki or "classic" and all the life and intrigue and sex is gone (I would much rather have the sheer tunic Doo-Ri Chung is wearing at left than any of the other stuff). Apparently sales have been only so-so, but you wouldn't know it according to rave reviews. It's a great direction for Gap, and they should keep trying.
