Row, Row, Row

The lookbook for Mary Kate and Ashley's haute new line The Row is up on Fashionologie, and with it comes the debate over whether one should pay thousands for a well-made brand backed by former child stars. We think LavishChic said it best: "These are the Olsen Twins. The OLSENS. As in the straight-to-video, tween set, interchangeable "Full House" twins. Yeah, them. I'm not buying it. $1000+ for a Ralph Rucci piece? Yes. For an Olsen piece? Hell no." That said, the clothes are attractive if unaffordable, and we like the photography. Thats always an issue eh? How much are you willing to pay for a specific look and how much are you willing to pay for the specific name? For me at least its a pretty huge inequality. I just bought a rockin pair of diesel jeans (on sale!) for 180. But i think about if I saw those same jeans for sale at Target... i dunno if i would have gone over $50...
