Fashion editors from Allure, Marie Claire and Vogue Latin America took a look at the "fashion editor" dolls created by Madame Alexander. Sadly, fashion editors do not dress like this. "These gals are declaring their next fashion epiphany over Grey Goose martinis," said Cleo Glyde, Marie Claire's style director, "not hunching over a Mac." The plunging necklines may not be work-appropriate. "The dolls are perfect, but not to go to work. I cannot imagine the first doll reviewing layouts in that dress," said Eva Hughes of Latin Vogue. As for whether a fashion editor needs a mini-me, Allure's editor-in-chief Linda Wells said, "These dolls are pure inspiration for all of us who live in Prada and Balenciaga. I'm ordering in bulk."
