Stoned on Style

jossstonefashion1.jpgBrit soul crooner Joss Stone is known for her eclectic, sometimes flower-child looks, but she told us her trademarked on-stage aversion to shoes isn't just hippie-inspired. "I do like shoes. I'm a girl," Stone told Flypaper, however, shoes aren't as important as safety. "Number one on my list is to not fall over. So in order to be comfortable on stage and not trip over those wires I don't wear shoes." Stone has a stylist, but she doesn't always follow the rules. "My stylist grabs loads of stuff for me and I pick out what I want. I don't like to be told what to wear. A lot of stylists say, 'Wear this or that' because they want to feel like they're doing their job. Some people need that. If I was a model I'd be all for it but I'm not."
