Despite a lukewarm reception for Patrick Robinson's capsule collection for Target (we still think it's just because he's not a "name" having worked behind the scenes at Paco Rabanne and Perry Ellis -- had the same collection been fronted by Rodarte, it would have sold out), the designer will become Gap's executive VP of design. We hope this helps the poor ol' Gap, and hope it means more cheap chic for the rest of us. [via Fashion Week]
