Gaultier and Gareth

Surprising everyone, stuffy Bergdorf Goodman has ordered pieces from Gareth Pugh carnivalesque collection, right, along with Barneys. Pugh's move into mass retail and upcoming exhibition at the V&A Museum in London have give him plenty of attention, including a recent piece in the London Times, where he wrote, "I thought Jean Paul Gaultier was the enfant terrible of the fashion world. Am I the slightly more attractive younger brother?" In many ways, Gaultier's spring 2007 show, left, seemed to be a reminder to all the young whippersnappers, especially Pugh -- I did gimp suits ages ago, kid.
