Although Isabel Toledo's first collection for Anne Klein sold exclusively in stores such as Barneys, her design talents are quickly rippling through handbags and footwear and all of Jones Apparel, which owns Anne Klein (and Barneys, surprise, surprise, although not for much longer). "I have wanted to take things very slowly to figure out how to innovate and not alienate," Toledo told WWD (speaking of innovation without alienation, note the gigantic Louis Vuitton book by her side). "I tried to invoke it with innovation, with good cuts, things I have felt you owned forever." How much do we love this woman?
