Chanel Homme?

00380m34a3f3cx5.jpgRumors that former Dior Homme designer Hedi Slimane may team up with Chanel to create a more prominent menswear line are buzzing around fashion circles. A Karl vs. Hedi smackdown would certainly be in order, and it would take someone like Slimane to bring Chanel's marginal menswear line some attention, as Chanel is not exactly known for dressing the dudes. As The Fashion Spot's Morningstar noted, Dior was known as a womens-only line until Hedi came aboard. But joining Chanel would mean no namesake label for Hedi, and that kind of limelight seems to be what he craved when he quit Dior Homme. [via The Fashion Spot]
