Along the lunatic fringes of fashion, bums are getting bigger every day, at least according to The Wall Street Journal. The hot new Crazy Robertson line pays tribute (and 5% of net profit) to a homeless schizophrenic who roller-boogies up and down L.A.’s Robertson Boulevard. But while the young entrepreneurs behind the silk-screened T-shirts and sweats have successfully appropriated The Crazy’s image, they haven’t really managed to capture his freewheeling style. It took fellow black-loving Angeleno Rick Owens to do that.
