Style icon Pharrell Williams reveals on his Billionaire Boys Club blog that he recently popped in Hermes to snatch up his custom-made purple alligator Birkin. Fierce. "Murses," or man-purses, often get ridiculed for looking doofusy or feminine, but when your boy bag is a Birkin -- with an accessory from Jacob the Jeweler attached -- even I have to gag. I mean, apart from the fabulousness of going into the Hermes workshop, you know a guy's style and confidence is off the charts when he's rocking a purple purse.

This is totally off topic, but where is your blogger named Wendy? I have really enjoyed her posts also and I haven't seen anything from her lately.

The entire focus of this blog has undergone a subtle shift lately and I was trying to figure out the reason. In the past, this has been my favorite fashion news blog.

I agree, it makes me sad because this blog used to be witty high-fashion and I couldn't wait to read it every day. It used to really stand above the rest and I would recommend it to all my friends. It's hard to put my finger on what's changed but now it feels like incessant valley-girl ramblings. The new blog posts just lack a certain level of class. I think that's it. The videos are horrible as well- could that Puma interview have been any duller?
Julie- I did read that Wendy is on maternity leave so hopefully she'll be back soon. You can blog and breastfeed, right ?

Pharell just has the same self satisfied smirk so many pseudo celebs have these days. OVER AND EXPOSED.
