She Wears the Pants

hill.jpgWho will fashionistas vote for? After Hillary backed out of a Vogue shoot for fear she'd look too feminine, Anna Wintour clapped back at her in her February address to her loyal constituents. "The notion that a contemporary woman must look mannish in order to be taken seriously as a seeker of power is frankly dismaying," Wintour says, adding that power suits are played out -- a "bridge for a generation of women to reach boardrooms filled with men." (Hillary can't win with the fashion elite. Remember her cleavage controversy last year?) Interestingly, Robin Givhan almost mirrors Wintour's sentiments. Either way, Hillary's clothes are almost always translated into gender politics. Which makes us wonder exactly what Vogue was going to put her in. A Lanvin frock? Skinny jeans and a baby doll blouse? We're dying to know. Oh Hillary. You should stun them all by rocking a fierce bag to your next speech.

This women needs major help. Forget about politics, (just for a moment or two), and think about the Lady inside the "box". A bad hair day, or 12, can be forgiven. A bad fashion choice, NOW & THEN, this to can be forgiven. We cant completely blame Mrs. Clinton. Does she not pay big $ to a crew of "Stylist", as I use the word w/hesitation. Perhaps I should be speaking to them. Do your job! This Women looks like a train wreck! She needs to look "clean". Clean lines, no frills, NO FOO-FOO!!! How hard can it be? She has taken so much heat for her "look" or lack of, she would probably welcome a change, a major one at that, with open arms!
Anna Wintour could not have said it better. To back out of a Vogue shoot for such an archaic reason is asinine, to say the least.
What's left to say? Mrs.Clinton. If by some strange reason you were to see this, I implore you to take a look at the team you have entrusted your entire "Public Persona" to. In this crazy, sometimes very wrong world, we judge people on many levels. How crazy is it to think that the way you look could sway a persons vote for the President of the United States. That is mind blowing. You are a brilliant Women. I realize fashion is about the last thing you need or want to worry about at this time. That's why you have a team. Their job is to make "getting dressed" a rare time when you can relax, enjoy yourself and your Women hood.
Why did I write this? No idea. Just sick of seeing what should be such a fixable problem into a national joke. I'm going to take a nap now. Instead of counting sheep, I'm going to be dressing you. One Fab ensemble after another. You look marvelous!
