New York clothes horses jonesing for a fashion fix since the end of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week will be heading downtown to the hipster harbor of Williamsburg this weekend where five Brooklyn designers -- Mandate of Heaven, Sovereign Beck, SDN, French Me, and King Gurvy -- will debut their Spring 2008 collections in a rambling waterfront art space. Even though Williamsburg Fashion Weekend is being touted as a runway-free event, there’ll likely be plenty of posing -- but don’t panic if you can’t make it. There will be vogueing galore when fashion week comes to your town:
