Amazing designer clothes are one thing, but off the runway and crowded on the rack in your closet is another. Aside from the obvious height and weight discrepancy most of us have with the models that troop down the catwalk, there's a question of how exactly to wear that gold sequin skirt, for instance, more than once. Backstage at Fashion Week I saw so many stylist notes next to the models' Polaroids that I realized the designers don't always know how to wear their pieces either.
