Pulitzer-prize winning fashion critic Robin Givhan has devoted much space in her Washington Post columns to tracking the lack of diversity on the runways, and she's pleased to report that she saw progress this past New York fashion week. Calvin Klein, whom she bemoaned for showing virtually no women of color last season, featured Liya Kebede this time around. And then there was the black model Jourdan Dunn, doing the rounds for more than a few top designers' shows. A baby step, but we'll take it.
