Y & Kei Fall 2008 -- Feeling It?

Loved it. Brushed wool pencil skirts and cape-sleeved belted coats for work, floor-length frocks with cropped jackets for evening, and sequins and lame minis for cocktails. But the coolest thing about this complete collection of high-concept looks were the fabrics -- some printed or sequined with impressionist watercolor renderings of floral bouquets. Listen to Y & Kei co-designer Hanii Y explain the theme of his collection, and why he thinks so many designers are going light, airy and floral when fall's traditionally dark.
